Rising alt-pop/indie rock band MT.Heads are set to release their latest single, ‘All I Ever Wanted’, on 25 July 2025. Fresh off the success of their debut EP ‘Windows Turned to Walls‘, the track marks the next chapter in their breakout journey, blending emotional urgency with dynamic, anthemic instrumentation.
‘All I Ever Wanted’ is a high-energy, summer-ready alt-pop single with an indie rock edge. Centred on the urgent repetition of its title lyric, the track explores themes of longing and fleeting connection. The standout moment arrives in the bridge, where raw, soaring vocals collapse into a breakdown and climb toward a climactic falsetto-driven outro, enriched by punchy guitar riffs and visceral production.
MT.Heads – formed by John Daly (vocals/guitar) and Sam Connolly (drums) – are quickly becoming one of Ireland’s most exciting alt-pop/indie prospects. Joined live by Aisling Stephens McGowan (bass), Rónán Wright (lead guitar), and Callum Byrne (trumpet), the band blend groove-driven rhythms with emotionally resonant lyrics and genre-bending arrangements.
Highlights include:
● RTÉ 2FM, iHeartRadio USA, and Hot Press support ● Opening for Landon Conrath (Employee of the Year Europe Tour) ● 50k+ cumulative streams across 8 singles ● Festival debut at Sea Sessions 2023
Their debut EP ‘Windows Turned to Walls‘ featured four standout tracks and was produced by Daniel De Burca, helping solidify the band’s reputation as a fresh force in the Irish indie circuit.
