“You Would Have Let Me Down pulls on the heart strings a little bit, it takes you away… I love the vocals on this as well, it just hooks you in” – Gemma Bradley, BBC Introducing

“’Delicate’ is the latest hypnotic indie-pop offering from the Dublin singer songwriter… ‘Delicate’ boasts a beautiful lyrical and musical circularity that will keep you humming it long after you’ve heard it.” – Niamh Browne, Hot Press Magazine

Miranda Faul is releasing her latest single, ‘Been Here Before‘, on Friday 17th October 2025. She is celebrating the release with a release party at Bello Bar, Dublin on Thursday 23rd October, with support from Pio Hartnett.

This release comes at the end of a busy year for Miranda that saw her tour Europe and release her debut EP, ‘Rise & Run’, to much critical acclaim; the project gained attention from stations including BBC Introducing, RTE 2FM, and Today FM, and publications such as Hot Press Magazine and Nialler9.

Speaking on ‘Been Here Before’, Miranda says “‘Been Here Before’ is a song about the downside of situationships and dating without labels. What happens when you get attached and want more? I think it’s driving us all a bit crazy.

When I wrote it, I was reckoning with myself from inside a situation that was hurting me. Part of me knew that the person I was ‘dating’ would never choose me, but other parts of me still hoped that he would, and it kept me waiting around. I don’t decide to walk away from him in the song. Of course, that would have been the right thing to do. But the song isn’t about doing the right thing or helping yourself, it’s about being stuck.

Been Here Before was produced by Cian Sweeney. It’s a two-track release with our last single, “Patience”, which I released in June 2025. Both songs start stripped and folky, and build to cinematic folk-pop soundscapes. I love capturing the drama of my songs in that way, pushing the vocal layers as far as I can.”
