Linkwells, a four-piece band from Malvern, blending influences from Bob Dylan, The Clash, Kings of Leon, and Stereophonics into a unique, melodic sound, release their new single.
‘On My Own’ was recorded at the renowned Old Smithy Recording Studios, takes a slightly more laid-back approach compared to their previous two singles. It’s a reflective, melodic song that delves into themes of love, loss, and resilience, while maintaining the authentic energy that defines their sound.
Linkwells consists of experienced performers:
- Keith Forde (Vocals/Guitar) – A BBC Introducing Irish artist and charting songwriter with international live experience.
- Mike Bannister (Guitar) – Previously with the blues-rock band Slowburner, whose fans include Robert Plant, who joined them as a guest performer on three occasions.
- Andy Dingley (Bass) – A musician with a long history in the UK music scene.
- James Elliot-Williams (Drums) – A seasoned international professional drummer with a 30-year career.
