LO_WAVES are excited to announce a celebration of extraordinary up and coming talent this International Women’s Day: Her Stage. Her Sound. This event will take place in The Workman’s Cellar on Saturday the 8th of March and feature four up and coming Irish Female Artists: Sarah Keane, Orla Monelle, Reylta and Pastiche.

Through an unforgettable evening of live performances, we’ll shine a spotlight on the stories behind the songs and the women who bring them to life.

Crowned RTE 2FM Rising Artist for 2025, Pastiche is undeniably transforming the Irish music landscape with her bold, electrifying pop sound. Hailed as “Ireland’s fastest-rising pop star” by Hotpress Magazine , she fuses dark electronic beats with vibrant 80s influences, delivering sharp, witty lyrics that leave a mark.
From selling out her debut headline show in 72 hours to lighting up international stages like Iceland Airwaves and Primavera Pro, she’s a force to be reckoned with. With hits like Forfeit Control (No. 3 on the Irish Radio Breakers Chart), Dizzy, and Abandon The Planet, she’s racked up millions of radio impacts and become one of Ireland’s most exciting new pop talents.

Hailing from County Mayo, Sarah Keane is a powerhouse folk-pop artist whose debut album ‘Something Bigger’ made waves last year. With her heartfelt lyrics and captivating melodies, Sarah is an accomplished song-writer and performer. With her acoustic guitar sets, Sarah draws her audience in with her stories exploring themes of friendship, family, loss and grieving. Having supported Jack L on his UK & Ireland tour last year, Sarah is an experienced and highly-acclaimed performer.

Recently having performed on the Late Late show, Reylta really brings the fire. Titled the Irish Alt-Folk queen of Galway, Reylta’s storytelling, folk lullabies, and the huge vocals bring a new wave of folk to the Irish scene. In 2023, Reylta first album Everything Unsaved Will Be Lost, came out to critical acclaim, featuring her hit song Holy – blending folk with Irish Language songs. Reylta’s song FIRE peaked inside the top 10 on Ireland’s Viral Top 50 on Spotify and with over 16K monthly listeners, Reylta really brings the music you love.

One of Ireland’s most exciting up-and-coming R&B artists, Orla Monelle has spent the past five years making waves with a string of critically acclaimed singles with features on BBC Radio 1s ‘Future Soul’ and playlists such as New Music Friday UK and ‘R&B Fresh Finds’. An accomplished live performer with a voice that captivates, she brings raw emotion and undeniable energy to every stage she steps on. With over 100k streams on Spotify, Orla is ready to break out on the Irish Music scene, labelled as one to watch in 2025.
