A graduate of BIMM Dublin’s song-writing programme, Liam first discovered his passion for song-writing through Music Generation before moving to Dublin to refine his craft. During his studies, he performed at some of Ireland’s best-known live venues, including Whelan’s and The Workman’s Club, developing a reputation for energetic live performances and authentic song-writing.
Influenced by artists including Fontaines D.C., Amble, Inhaler and The Academic, Liam creates music that blends heartfelt storytelling with anthemic indie production. His latest single, ‘This Life’, showcases his evolution as both a songwriter and performer, delivering his most confident and uplifting release yet.
‘This Life’ is an anthem for embracing the present and appreciating life’s best moments while they’re happening. Built around the message, “Stop waiting on a lifeline, stop waiting on the right time,” the song encourages listeners to stop putting life on hold and start making memories with the people who matter most.
The track was brought to life alongside producer Gavin Doyle, who helped transform Liam’s original acoustic demo into a vibrant, feel-good record. Together they crafted a sound that balances simplicity with powerful moments, allowing the song’s hopeful message to shine through.
Whether it’s soundtracking a summer road trip, an evening with friends or simply reminding listeners to enjoy the moment they’re in, ‘This Life’ is a celebration of living fully and making the most of every opportunity.
With ambitions to continue touring across Ireland and perform at festivals including Sea Sessions, All Together Now, Electric Picnic and Other Voices, Liam is establishing himself as one of the country’s exciting new independent voices. As his audience continues to grow, his commitment to authentic song-writing and memorable melodies remains at the heart of everything he creates.
