Carlow-based trio Leave On Mute return with their new single ‘Don’t Tell Me’ out now. This single is a dark, acoustic-led love song that continues the atmosphere established on their debut single ‘Stoneage’ that was released last year. Blending intimate song-writing with melodic alternative influences, the track introduces a confident next step for the band’s evolving sound.
The trio features Ken Nolan on bass, backing vocals, engineering and mixing, Gavin Glover on drums, and Adrian O’Connell on guitar, vocals and song-writing.
‘Leave On Mute’ bring together years of experience across the Irish independent music scene. The members have previously been involved in a range of projects including The Floors, Cayna, Beef Supreme, Huts on Stilts and Mr Creosote.
‘Don’t Tell Me’ was recorded by the band themselves and mixed and mastered by David Ayers of Red Snapper, known for his work with Warp Records. The result is a carefully crafted track that balances raw emotional detail with a polished, atmospheric production style.
