Jake Carter is set to release his self-penned, feel good, pop groove “I Just Gotta Take You Home”. The single is an uplifting, feel good pop song, with sing-a-long melodies, catchy guitar licks and driving bass riffs.
The catchy pop track was produced by Diffusion Lab’s Chris Bubenzer and Marcin Ciszczon, the team behind Jake Carter’s previous singles ‘I Won’t Be Leaving’, ‘Loving In Darkness’ and “Sink or Swim” as well as the producing for the likes of Soule, Jafaris and FLYNN among other Irish Artists in recent years. Full of feel good vibes, the track was written by Jake Carter and Irish songwriter Conor McQuaid at The Nucleus Studio in Dublin.
Speaking on the song’s origins, Jake says: “It was a song we wrote during lockdown through zoom, and then finished in studio. It started off with an extremely catchy bass riff which we then built the song around. We tried to keep the riffs and vocal melodies as catchy as possible, and with the help of the guys at Diffusion Lab, I really think we did just that.”
Liverpool born but Ireland based since he was 18, Jake Carter, still only 23, has already made a name for himself in the world of creative arts through his victory on Dancing With The Stars as well as acting roles in a number of stage shows. While he enjoys the idea of continuing to bring that triple threat of acting, dancing and singing, music is Jake’s first love. The 23-year old is now seeking to firmly establish himself as a pop star in the mould of Olly Murs and Justin Timberlake and to create music that reflects who he really is and not who people think he should be.
