Irish Women in Jazz are excited to present this unique event. The 10th in the Live Podcast & Gig Series, this time teaming up with Lulu’s Jazz Club and Samba.ie for something extra special!

About Irish Women in Jazz: Established in 2022 our purpose is to help elevate the voices of women playing jazz and related music in Ireland. It aims to connect the growing community of players/ vocalists, and to nurture this community and its audience. It is a musician-run endeavour. Since 2024 we are kindly supported by The Arts Council. Our Live Podcast & Gig Series invites a female band leader to come and chat with host and Irish Women in Jazz founder Jennifer McMahon about current projects and they’re journey so far. The gig is then led by the guest and their band.

On August 10th we host our Live Podcast & Gig at The Cellar of the Workman’s Club. Our featured artist: Luisa Annibali.

Luisa has been a regular on the Irish jazz scene for a number of years, building Lulu’s Jazz Club to a successful weekly event while also launching her original music career. Engaged with the Brazilian music community in Dublin, Luisa brings a unique concert experience to the table.
