Irish pop icon LYRA set to release new Single ‘The Ending’ ahead of Headline Winter Tour
The latest release from Irish artist LYRA is in the form of closure, that final chapter that was needed. It is a power pop belter, a song that brings honesty while Lyra continues to deliver high energy voltage from start to finish, set for release on Friday, October 4th.
Speaking about the record, Lyra said; “It’s a power anthem to give myself closure. It’s a very true and raw biography about the ending of my relationship and the day I realised it wasn’t my fault and I was done blaming myself”.
Lyra has teamed up again with UK producer Phil Cook who has worked with some of the biggest names in music industry (Lewis Capaldi, Calum Scott, YUNGBLUD, Ellie Goulding). The duo recorded ‘The Ending’ in London earlier this summer. The record represents the closing of one chapter and the beginning of something new.
A record that has sonic sound and a club vibe, she sings; “This is a letter to my ex, hope you see it. Hear the crowd scream, you said I’d never make it”
Fresh off the back of the success of #1 debut album ‘LYRA’ in the Irish album charts, the pop artist will play a run of dates across Ireland commencing in November including a Dublin date at the National Stadium. The album includes pop anthems ‘Chess’, ‘Drink Me Up’ and ‘You’ and has reached over a 1 million streams.
Formats available include Vinyl and CD and on all across digital platforms from October 4th.
