Irish-Nigerian artist iUS is a multidisciplinary artist whose soft, captivating vocals pull listeners into ethereal, dreamlike worlds—whether through headphones or during his immersive live performances. His highly anticipated next single, Mr Fruitfly, is set to be released on Friday, June 13th, and promises to be the song of the summer.

iUS delivered a truly memorable set at Electric Picnic 2024, and has headlined shows in both Dublin and London, where he has developed a reputation for his free-flowing and audience-engaging performances. iUS has an undeniable ability to create unique songs that live beyond music. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Frank Ocean, Sia, Coldplay, Lana Del Rey, Aurora and Stevie Wonder, his sound blends indie, folk, soul, pop, and rap.

Inspired by his multicultural upbringing iUS wrote his debut single Omozé. iUS then wrote and directed the dreamlike short film by the same name, Omozé, which centred on themes of identity, belonging, and cultural connection. The film earned a coveted spot at the prestigious Galway Film Fleadh, receiving widespread critical acclaim.

This summer, iUS is now set to take this creative journey to another universe with his next single Mr Fruitfly accompanied by an iconic music video. It depicts an adventurous comic book superhero who goes by the name of Mr Fruitfly. A short film centred around the origin of Mr Fruitfly is also in the works.

Mr Fruitfly is being eagerly anticipated as its addictive melodies, infectious rhythm and unique character-driven narrative makes it a no-brainer to play on repeat.

Mr Fruitfly will be available on all major streaming platforms Friday, June 13th.
