Irish-Australian Alt R&B Singer Conor Hamilton-Long set to release new Single ‘By The Way’ Thursday July 18th

July 16, 2024

By The Way‘ is an upbeat Alternative R&B track focused on learning from past mistakes and setting boundaries for yourself. Grounded in R&B with an uplifting charm and catchy hook, ‘By The Way’ is an audacious feel-good song about coming out the other side of something negative. Produced by close friend and regular collaborator, Paul Jarvis (Kipunji).

Conor Hamilton-Long is a Irish/Australian Alt R&B Singer/Songwriter who has recently relocated to Melbourne, Australia after 21 years in Ireland. He is back with his first Australian release, “By The Way”. Conor’s music is a blend of genres, with a primary focus in alt pop/alt R&B, drawing from personal experiences of growth, heartache, and the myriad emotions that make up life. Whilst songwriting is Conor’s primary outlet of self expression, there is also a hope that those who listen can have something to relate to with their own interpretation, helping them enjoy the good times and get through the bad times.

Conor had a busy 2022 playing headline shows and festivals across Ireland/UK including a Jameson Whiskey Showcase Event, 2 headline shows and a primetime slot at Ireland’s second largest festival All Together Now. 2023 was focused on travel which included lots of songwriting before relocating back to Australia. During the songwriting stint, “By The Way” was born and is the first of a string of releases this year.

With previous releases of Conor’s featuring on national radio & press in Ireland & UK, he also landed placements on Spotify’s Editorials such as ‘New Music Friday UK’ & ‘Irish Dance’ to name a few.
