Ireland Music Week announces 2024 Conference Schedule
Ireland Music Week today announced the schedule for the conference, which will take place on Wednesday 2nd, Thursday 3rd and Friday 4th Oct.
Wednesday will play host to the Local Focus day in association with AIM Ireland. Thursday and Friday will focus on the many international aspects of the industry. Taking place in Lost Lane Main Room, Lost Lane Library, and Crow Bar Terrace (in the Button Factory), the conference will host speakers from all over the world who will share their music knowledge and industry expertise.

The festival is pleased to introduce day shows to this year’s proceedings. They will take place in the Workman’s Club (Main venue and Cellar Bar) on Thursday afternoon, with four acts playing over a two hour period, starting at 14.45.
The showcases will take place across six stages each night over three venues – The Button Factory, The Grand Social & The Workman’s Club. Once again, Lost Lane will host the festival hub and the conference during the day, with some conference activities taking place in Crowbar Terrace this year (on Friday).

Up to 90 international delegates will once again attend the festival, with industry and bookers from the likes of ESNS, The Great Escape, SWXW, Primavera Pro, ATC, CAA, AWAL, Partisan and many more.
The festival puts a strong focus on export-ready artists with an increased success rate year on year. Bookers, labels, publishers, managers, agents, and many more international professionals have confirmed to attend this annual showcase and conference, which is an essential step in any Irish act’s development.

Ireland Music Week, as always, strives to achieve at least a 50% representation of women and underrepresented gender minorities in its line-up.
