IMRO recently caught up with Saw Doctors members Davy Carton and Leo Moran in Galway to present them with an IMRO Number 1 Award for the band’s July 2021 Irish Independent chart topping album ‘If This Is Rock And Roll I Want My Old Job Back’.
The IMRO Number 1 Award was introduced to acknowledge IMRO members who reach number 1 in the album charts in Ireland.
Formed in 1986 the Saw Doctors have achieved eighteen Top 30 singles in the Republic of Ireland including three number ones.
They have recently announced a string of upcoming live dates including; Manchester Castlefield Bowl, Kelvingrove Amphitheatre Glasgow, Moseley Folk Festival Birmingham along with shows in New York, Boston and Galway in July 2023. For more details see: http://sawdoctors.com/
