On Friday, March 21st 2025, Fiachna O Braonain, Tom Dunne & Alan Connor share their third single, “God Only Knows”  from their debut album “Live At The Pavilion”.

Between them, Tom and Fiachna have made eleven Studio Albums, of which four reached Number One; seven live albums; and in terms of touring; an estimated 20 to 25 US tours. Then there’s Alan Connor providing Billy Preston type magic, on more albums than you can count!

Tom and Fiachna’s paths crossed, over the decades on the stages of the world, but the idea of making music together never arose. “They seemed like such different worlds. Hothouse Flowers had strong trad and folk influences. Something Happens were so guitar heavy, and American facing, American produced, hence all those US tours.”

Fiachna, Tom & Alan are now about 50 shows in! They have all been magical.

And of course there are stories. “Music is an extreme world. It can attract delicate, gifted souls, fragile and beautiful. And it can attract the kind of people who prey on those souls. “And no Gold Watch on retirement” as Warren Zevon used to say.”

One such beautiful soul was Beach Boys genius Brian Wilson. Tom: “I got to interview him five times. It was never easy. I tell the full story in the show. It always felt like a struggle to get his attention. Occasionally the real Brian would snap into focus.

Once at a public interview, an audience member asked him if it was true that Mike Love had co-written God Only Knows – as Mike, and Mike alone had frequently claimed.

The question seemed to wake Brian from a deep slumber: “Mike Love said he’d co-written God Only knows!” he laughed, “Mike Love was never alone long enough to write God Only Knows” he said, empathically.” Game, set and match to Mr Wilson.

Join us for songs, stories, shared memories, amazing experiences, jaw dropping feats, guitar, low whistle, triangular sandwiches, tea, get to meet the really talented one, marvel at Covid acquired guitar skills, raise the roof, sing, cry, laugh, and be back in bed by eleven.

What is not to love?
