SUPERPOWER is the third release (December 6th) from the upcoming debut, and self-titled album, ‘Far Away Blonde’ (AKA Julie Horton).
“I’d just finished watching The Split, with one of my favourite British Actresses, Nichola Walker and the brilliant Stephen Mangan, and this gave me the lyric to the music I’d already composed. It’s about a long term couple who have lost their way with each other – wondering whether they have just become friends – whether history is all that binds them. Sometimes we wait and wish, for some sort of intervention to give us clarity. This had to be a duet, and so I asked Adam Ellis, who I’ve worked with many times, to join me in telling the story.”
The album will be available early 2025.
