“…could only be the work of someone with monumentous musical talent and expertise…Eamon Brady is a force of nature.” – Hot Press
“Delicate, intricate and inviting, with beautifully-sanded edges, one of my favourite musicians and singer-songwriters right in their sweet spot.” – David Kitt
“Eamon played crucial roles at the burgeoning dawn of my music career. This included advising on and then ultimately mixing my first Junior Brother project, Fuck Off I Love You… All through this time of mentorship and guidance, Eamon’s own voice and remarkable talent would always shine through, and now with this new album, it is fantastic to see and hear his own voice emerge loud and clear, in an intimate, powerful style all his own.” – Ronan Kealy // Junior Brother
Fresh from the hypnotic debut single ‘Our Hands’, Brady delivers his second release that is both vulnerable and committed.
‘Arms Are Weak’ is at once melodic and weightful — a blend of suspended textures, where threads of dissonance and release are offset by moments of striking beauty. Dave Clancy’s pedal steel (John Murry, The Whileaways) drifts through the track, softening the edges of its synthetic pulse. The hook rises into focus with a lyrical clarity, propelled by sequences that subtly shift the momentum. Strings by Patrick Daly (Ham Sandwich, Niamh Regan) reshape the landscape before the textures converge in a sweeping release.
The song moves from early hopefulness towards the raw recognition of self-inflicted wounds and doubt. Childhood imagery and shifting natural scenes mirror the protagonist’s fragile confidence, capturing both a coming-of-age moment and the weight of emotional struggle.
This is Brady’s craft laid bare: meticulous yet unguarded, detailed yet direct. Every track on Half Light reveals more — not just sound, but story.
Two decades in the background. Two songs down. The full picture is beginning to emerge.
Half Light (LP) arrives November 7, 2025.
