SPEAKERS’ dynamic live set has seen them perform across a plethora of stages on the national level, from Whelan’s Upstairs in Dublin to Sea Sessions in Donegal.
In 2024, SPEAKERS released COOLER TALK which earned the band a place alongside Ireland’s most promising upcoming artists on RADIO NOVA’s shortlist for HOT PRESS’s ‘A New Local Hero’ award. SPEAKERS’ newest single FIGHT LIKE A MAN explores toxic masculinity and challenges the idea of what it means to be a ‘man’, paired with the band’s melodramatic vocals and distorted guitars – it even has a drum solo!
