Dublin Songwriting Circle to host showcase event in Little Whelan’s on Wednesday November 6th

November 4, 2024

Dublin Songwriting Circle will host their first ever showcase event on Wednesday November 6th in Little Whelan’s. The event will showcase four songwriters who have played at the monthly songwriting feedback and networking events that have been taking place in The Black Sheep since January this year. Performing on the night will be Fraser Catini, Augali, Aoibhe Casey and David Eamon.

Talking about the showcase, Dublin Songwriting Circle’s Creative Director, Luke Clerkin said ‘We are so excited to be able to bring these amazing songwriters to one of Dublin’s most famous venues for what will be an incredible night of music and storytelling. We had a very hard job choosing who would play on the night, after getting so many applications from people interested in taking part. So it’s amazing that it’s finally happening! This will be the first of many showcases that we will be organising, so there will be lots of other opportunities in the future for those who weren’t successful this time round. We really can’t wait to get this one off the ground!’.
