John Doherty, hails from Killybegs, Donegal and is formerly known as the musical outfit Little Hours. With a career spanning nearly a decade, his music has been lauded for its emotional honesty and craftsmanship. Doherty’s past releases, including his last EP “Resilience” and subsequent singles, have led to sold-out shows across Ireland and beyond, solidifying his place in the Irish music landscape.
‘THE TIDE’ – A NEW CHAPTER
With ‘The Tide’, Doherty ventures into uncharted waters, weaving traditional folk elements with the rich textures of contemporary country. It was produced and written by John and Luca Janzen. In the lead-up to this release, John has been refining his craft, working closely with producers such as Tommy McLaughlin (Attica Studios, Villagers, SOAK) and Cormac Butler (All Tvvins, Coronas). The result is a stunning single that’s set to become a staple on the country and folk scenes.
