IMRO member David Bickley has composed the soundtrack to SALT, an immersive audio visual piece being installed at IMMA for the Earth Rising Festival that runs from the 21st to the 23rd of October.
The work was developed and created with Pakistani artist Hina Kahn and explores ideas of borders and marginal places, with particular reference to migration and and liminal spaces between land and sea. David is no stranger to creating atmospheric aquatic moods, having also made some of the music for Ridley Scott’s nautical thriller, The Terror.
