An unwavering spirit, boundary pushing lyrics and mesmerizing vocals mean Bandon’s Áine Duffy leaves an indelible mark wherever she goes. From touring the world from New York, LA and Toronto to her pandemic era convertible stage Áine’s channels her infectious personality and resilience into memorable moments that has garnered her a large and loyal fanbase. With a number of exciting plans in place for summer 2025 Áine Duffy is pleased to have released her brand new single ‘Rooting For You’ on May 23, 2025.

Known for her electrifying performances Áine’s infectious personality embodying her unique style and exceptional guitar skills has earned her the comparison “It’s like Davel Grohl gate-crashed an Irish protest rally.” Lyrically, Duffy’s music is as sharp as it is catchy, biting commentary is delivered with a dose of sarcasm and a sense of fun, making her music both thought-provoking and engaging.

Genre bending, boundary pushing with nods to RnB, Dance and Rock, and steeped in Áine’s commanding and authentic vocal makes ‘Rooting For You’ an audio hug in these times of anguish. The catchy refrain “I got you” is a beautiful and powerful message of support to send out to the world as we try to navigate these uncertain times.  Speaking on her new single Áine says “I wrote ‘Rooting for You’ touching on a vulnerable place, when you are rooting for someone, and can only hope they are rooting for you back. Especially when you are really trying! I hope it’s an audio hug for the listener and I intend it to be comforting in these uncertain times. Hugs, I’m rooting for you. “

Áine Duffy is a visionary and innovator, after successfully building her own passive small home over the pandemic she turned her skills to converting a donkey box into a convertible stage which proved a massive hit and is known fondly as the “Duffbox”. Áine has since taken the “Duffbox” to tour the country as well as direct provision centres and DEIS schools. Feeling further inspired to help other musicians and help beat touring costs there is a new innovation being built – the “Duffbox 2.0”! This fearless journey of self-belief saw Áine feature on The Brendan O’Connor Show RTE 1,BBC, TodayFM,  2FM, Ireland AM, Nuacht, RTE, TG4, Virgin Media, the Irish Times, Self build magazine,  Newstalk and more. In 2024 Áine began presenting her own radio show called “Blas”, the Irish word for taste and accent, celebrating Irish based Artists staying true to their stories, art and culture. Fans should keep an eye out as her self-produced and directed video for her last release ‘Tits up!’ is getting a special laurel at the upcoming UK Music Video Awards. Her song ‘Won’t Go’ was also featured on RTE’s “Striking out”. Áine is just back from a very special appearance where she headlined at SanPatrico  Festival, Livorno Italy in March 2025 sponsored by Culture Ireland and the Italian Embassy.

In response to the lack of gender diversity found at the upcoming Live at the Marquee series Áine is putting on an event with Cork City Council in July 2025, called “Don’t Touch My Knob”.

Tony Fenton from Today FM said she “kicks ass”

NME’s James Hendicot observed she’s “fantastically refreshing”.

“Bandon-born singer-songwriter Áine Duffy has done it again in her catchy new single ‘Tits Up’ where she shows off her quirky style and belter of a voice.
