Cabin is back with his latest single on October 16th, ‘It’s All Over (For You)’, a joyous, and catchy psychedelic pop track, tinged with the stylings of early new wave. Following on from his raucous last single, ‘Grind’, Cabin demonstrates his ability to shake up his sound with this latest offering, while retaining the production stylings that he has developed across his work.

‘It’s All Over (For You)’ glides on radiant synths, chirpy percussion, and a chorus melody that is Cabin’s biggest ear-worm to date. A tongue-and-cheek affair that takes aim at the prevalence of advertising in our lives, and the ‘Mad Men’ behind it, distilled down to a concise, and shimmering pop number.

On the track, Cabin says;
“We live amidst an inescapable presence of advertisement, that becomes more personal and insidious as time goes by, to the point that we also feel the need to be selling something, or ourselves. So, what better way to examine that than through a four minute pop song”

This track will be the second single off Cabin’s newly announced EP, ‘Yuppie’, set to be released December 5th.

About Cabin

Starting in 2021, Cabin began with a collection of songs written, recorded and mixed completely independently, and has had his music featured on the likes of BBC Radio 6 with Steve Lamacq, Radio X with John Kennedy, Rough Trade Counter Culture Clash Magazine, Hot Press, The Last Mixed Tape, Golden Plec and more.

In producing, writing, recording, and mixing his work, Cabin offers a singular artistic voice that makes way for unique and distinctive compositions. Drawing influence from the classic songwriters of popular music, his psychedelic sound is glittered with the palpable tension of Post-Punk and Alternative Rock, the exuberant tenderness of Soul, and the reverent reflection of Folk music.

His focus is for his music and lyrics to imbue the aspects of modern-day disillusionment and existential dread with a defiant sense of radical optimism and to try to see the colour through the grey.
