Dublin-based electronic duo Barbagianni are back with their electrifying second single, ‘Out Of My Head,’ set for release on July 18, 2025. Following their dreamy debut ‘Punch Drunk,’ the new track signals a bold sonic shift—embracing pulsating rhythms, rapid tempos, and a raw, kinetic energy that pushes their synth-pop roots into exhilarating new territory.
The band—comprised of Karl McCrone (producer/guitar) and Matthew Keating (producer/bass)—are no strangers to the scene, having collaborated with standout Irish talents including Lydia Ford, Lucy McWilliams, and Theo Fitzgibbon.
Now, with ‘Out Of My Head,’ Barbagianni showcase a dynamic evolution in their sound, weaving atmospheric synths with aggressive, dancefloor-ready beats.
“Out of My Head started out as ‘Teach,’ meaning ‘house’ in Irish. It’s an exciting sonic evolution for us, emerging from a creative exploration of faster tempos and more aggressive drum patterns,” says Barbagianni.
