Aoife Doyle Premieres Animation Video by Marc Corrigan for Title Track from Upcoming Album ‘Infinitely Clear’

April 20, 2022

Irish singer, musician and songwriter Aoife Doyle will release an animated video for the title track from her highly anticipated third album INFINITELY CLEAR on the 15th of April 2022. The Animation was created by artist Marc Corrigan. This work was kindly supported by The Arts Council of Ireland.

Marc says: ‘The video is a hand drawn animation with story and pacing all inspired by the music and lyrics of Infinitely Clear. Moonlight, starry night, fireworks, and a tapestry of possibilities all set the place, but it is the music that sets the tone and suggests the story that follows. Its a dream world, a fantasy version of the world outside the window.’

Marc Corrigan studied fine art in GMIT and experimented with sound and narrative in early painting exhibitions before naturally transitioning to animation. Marc has been prolific in making short films and music videos and his music videos have been featured in film festivals and galleries globally. He continues to create new work using a variety of traditional and experimental techniques.

Aoife says: ‘I love the storyboard Marc created. It begins with a moonlit room which was the initial inspiration for the song, and sets the scene for the sentiment – infinitely clear, endless possibility’

Songs already released from the album include ‘Strength To Be Strong’, ‘Clare Sky’, ‘They Say’ and ‘Love Conquers All’. They have been warmly received by radio and media at home and abroad, with all songs being crowned ‘Track of The Day’ on HOTPRESS MAGAZINE. Strength To Be Strong was also song of the week on The ACOUSTIC YARD RADIO.

Aoife Doyle is originally from Bray, Co. Wicklow now living in Co. Clare. While she has been performing for many years, it was upon moving to the West Coast of Ireland that she found her songwriting voice.

The album INFINITELY CLEAR was produced by the highly-regarded musician, arranger and producer Michael Buckley.

Doyle is joined by a stellar band on the album, featuring some of Ireland’s most in-demand musicians including vocalist Margot Daly, saxophonist Michael Buckley, trumpet player Ronan Dooney, pianist Johnny Taylor, hammond organist Justin Carroll, guitarist Jack Maher, bassist Andrew Csibi and drummer Dominic Mullan.
