After establishing himself with a flurry of releases with former band Hendrick Lane in past years, fast-rising Irish alt-rnb artist S.t Jae is now looking to cement his legacy to date with the latest entry to his solo catalogue. Titled “Back4U,” the new single captures the complexities and nuances of modern-day relationships whilst taking us on a rollercoaster of emotions that come with intense passion and love.
S.t Jaé perfectly portrays the power dynamic and struggles of relationships through clever wordplay, witty and playful lyrics. The track offers an intimate look into the artist’s personal experiences as he explores themes of desire, reassurance and exclusivity facetiously highlighting the difficulties of juggling multiple partners and avoiding commitment. Injecting an array of colloquialism and pop culture references to a unique blend of heartfelt R&B and drill production, creating a fresh and nostalgic sound.
