Alicija and Maurice of Maija Music Publishing would like to present our new release called “Washed Out By His Lies”.
“Washed Out By His Lies” is an emotional song about passion, love, betrayal and lies but even more important, maintaining control in your own life.
Recorded on the streets of Dublin, we managed to assemble a multicultural creative crew from Ireland, Lithuania, Poland, The Philippines, Lebanon and Brazil! Our video brilliantly reflects the urban and abandoned theme. It’s a theme that repeats for us all. We all need to focus on colours, be strong and remain in charge.
Originally from Lithuania, Alicija has lived in Dublin for the last 5 years and now calls it home. After a successful music career in her native Lithuania, she moved to Ireland to further her studies and has also been concentrating on Jazz vocal techniques, song-writing and musical composition and is currently working on songs for her new album.
Alicija had a very successful singing career in her native Lithuania. She not only featured in the charts but also enjoyed TV appearances and radio play and as a result still maintains a large fan base. She has over 300,000 hits on YouTube and is delighted to have something new to show her fans back home.
For the last two years Alicija has been working with Irish song-writer Maurice Byrne creating music for the US movie industry in Portland, Oregon, San Francisco and Los Angeles as well as collaborating with other artists and musicians here in Ireland, Poland and Lithuania.
“It’s really great to be working on new material that will be so well received by my fans but now I’m also making new friends and fans in my new home, Ireland and that’s wonderful!”- says Alicija.
