Irish pop artist Alice Kiernan is set to release her powerful new pop anthem ‘You Liar‘ on October 17.
Written about the heartbreak of a friendship breakup and the loss of control over your own story, the track pairs raw honesty and heartbreak with soaring, anthemic pop energy.
Speaking about the release, Alice says: “I think we don’t often speak about the heartbreak that comes with the break up of a friendship and the navigation that comes with it. This song came from that heartbreak of losing a friend and watching the narrative spiral out of my hands.”
Following her headline debut at Whelan’s last November, Alice will join Scottish pop artist Blair Davie as support on the mainstage of The Workman’s Club, Dublin, on December 12.
‘You Liar‘ will be available on all streaming platforms October 17.

About Alice Kiernan
Alice Kiernan is an Irish songwriter, pop artist, and spoken word artist.
She began singing, playing guitar and writing songs at the age of 12 and by the age of 16 began her music career by gigging and performing in venues around Dublin and Ireland.
Through gigging and posting covers and her own originals online, she soon gained a small following which created the foundation and gave her the confidence to start releasing music independently in 2018. Her original music to date has gained media attention across major outlets such as BBC, RTE, TodayFM, Nialler9, Spin1038, iRadio, HotPress, and more.
In 2024, she made her headline debut at Whelan’s in Dublin.
In 2021, she gained a following on TikTok with her music and poetry reaching over millions every year.
