‘To Yourself Please Always Be True’ is the new single by Ashbourne singer-songwriter Alan Kavanagh. The song is the follow up single to ‘Bitter Man’ which reached number three on the I-Tunes Rock Chart and also won IMRO’s Christy Hennessy Song Contest last October.
‘To Yourself Please Always Be True’ is a father’s letter to his new born about the road that lies ahead. Alan wrote the song last year while away playing music on cruise ships. The song was recorded by Kavanagh with producer Brian McGrane and the video was shot using old family Super 8 films.
The song is available on I-Tunes, CD Baby and most digital platforms.
