Are You Eligible to Join IMRO as a Publisher?

To qualify for Publisher Membership with IMRO, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • You must have a minimum of ten musical works in your publishing catalogue.
  • At least five of these works must have been commercially exploited (e.g., broadcast, publicly performed, or commercially recorded) withinin the past two years.

How to Apply

To apply for membership, please complete the Publisher Member Application Form / Agreement and submit it along with the required supporting documents listed below.

Please note: The Member Agreement includes an assignment of specified rights in your copyright works to IMRO. It becomes effective only once your application is approved. If you have any concerns about the legal implications, we recommend seeking independent legal advice before signing.


Application Checklist

Before sending your application to IMRO, please ensure all of the following are included:

✅ Fully completed and signed Publisher Member Application Form / Agreement.
Evidence of commercial exploitation for at least 5 of your qualifying works (e.g., broadcast details, sales, or streaming links).
✅ A complete catalogue/listing of all works under your publishing control.
✅ A copy of your company’s headed notepaper.
✅ If applying as a partnership, include a copy of the partnership agreement.
✅ If applying as a sole proprietor, provide a copy of your passport, driver’s licence, or birth certificate.
