Eve Belle, Donegal’s damsel of The Sad Bop, will play her first
Dublin headline show in over a year, when she plays upstairs at Whelan’s on
Wednesday 24th July.
Her brand new, sun-kissed
single ‘Out Of Town’ is out today.
Eve says:
“Out Of Town is about the
giddiness that comes with new romance and that ‘will-we-won’t-we?’ feeling that
takes over your mind as you fall for someone new. It’s inspired by the perils
of dating and letting yourself be open to new people and experiences, no matter
how counter-intuitive that can be at times.”
Once again recorded and
produced in London with regular Team Eve collaborator Fred Cox (Rag ‘N’ Bone
Man, Grace Carter), “Out Of Town” is the follow-up to Irish radio hit
“Cut-Throat”; and is the first taste of new music from Eve Belle’s new EP, the
splendidly titled ‘The Fine Line Between Brave And Stupid’, which will be
released on Friday 5th July.
Fresh from UK festival
spots at Liverpool Sound City and Live At Leeds, tickets for Eve Belle live
upstairs at Whelan’s in Dublin on July 24th will go on-sale on Monday 24th June
from the usual outlets.
Eve will also be playing Kaleidoscope Festival, Blessington on Friday 28th June.
