Pulse College, one of Irelands leading colleges for creative media, has partnered with DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama to offer a one year Masters Degree in Scoring for Film and Visual Media. This unique program, the first of its kind in Ireland, is designed to harness the creative potential of future composers. It is aimed predominantly at musicians, composers and engineers who want to develop technical, musical and professional skills that will lead them in to a career in the global entertainment industry.

Directed by Derek Gleeson, one of Ireland’s most renowned composers, the MA will include award-winning tutors such as Richard Bellis, Daniel Carlin, Andy Hill and Conrad Pope to name but a few. This programme will be delivered in the world-famous Windmill Lane Recording Studios. U2, David Bowie, The Rolling Stones and Lady Gaga are among the many legends who have graced these rooms. More relevant to this course, many great film scores have been recorded here too, including The Mask, Mission Impossible and many others by great composers such as Elmer Bernstein.

To tie in with the launch of the course, Pulse College will be hosting a live Q&A event on Monday 16th June (6pm GMT) direct from the hallowed Studio 1 in Windmill Lane, with a panel of industry experts covering;
