UK-born Phil Ware relocated to Dublin in 2000 where he rapidly became one of Ireland’s most in-demand jazz pianists. Phil was much admired for his fluent, hard-swinging playing in the classic style of his heroes Wynton Kelly and Hampton Hawes. In 2007, The Phil Ware Trio released the acclaimed debut album, In Our Own Time and thereafter toured extensively, twice representing Ireland at the Eurojazz Festival in Mexico City.
