The IMRO Radio Awards are delighted to announce the appointment of Jackie Neill as Head Judge for the 2025 awards.

Jackie is one of Northern Ireland’s most accomplished radio professionals, with an impressive track record spanning more than three decades in editorial leadership and radio production. She brings deep expertise, a passion for broadcasting, and a vast network of industry connections across both the UK and Ireland.

In her current role as a freelance trainer, producer, and consultant, Jackie works with a wide range of media organisations, including OFCOM, Learning Waves, and Coimisiún na Meán. Previously, she served as Station Manager at BBC Radio Ulster, where she played a pivotal role in shaping programming and supporting talent development.

Jackie has a long-standing relationship with the IMRO (formerly PPI) Radio Awards, having contributed as an entrant, judge, and committee member for almost 20 years. Her appointment as Head Judge reflects both her professional integrity and her enduring commitment to excellence in Irish radio broadcasting.

The IMRO Radio Awards Committee also wishes to express its sincere gratitude to Peter McPartlin, who steps down after several years of outstanding service as Head Judge. His leadership, insight, and dedication have been invaluable, and we wish him all the very best in his future endeavours.
