Interactive event on EU funding strands available to arts, heritage and cultural organisations

Co-organised by The Wheel, Creative Europe Desk Ireland – Culture Office and Leargas, this interactive event will outline EU funding strands available to arts, heritage and cultural organisations.

An overview of Europe for Citizens, Creative Europe – Culture Sub-Programme and Erasmus+ will be provided along with details of how to apply. Representatives from organisations who have benefited from EU funding will share experiences of applying for and rolling out projects.

Event Outline:

09h30: Registration, tea, coffee and networking.

10h00: Flash presentations on each programme’s objectives and application process

10h45: Chaired panel discussion with successful funding applicants plus Q&A session

12h15: So you want to apply for EU Funding ? Tips…

12h30: Light lunch and networking

13h00: Close.

By the end of the workshop attendees will have:

•Familiarised themselves with EACEA’s cultural programmes (Europe for Citizens, Creative Europe Culture, Erasmus+) and funding opportunities available

•Increased knowledge of the requirements in applying for EU funding

•Learnt about specific areas under which calls will be open (e.g. youth arts, citizenship, remembrance, integration etc)

•Become aware of the relevant contact points in Ireland who can assist you and networked with other organisations
