SXSW takes place this month in Austin, Texas, and 11 acts from Ireland will be showcasing across the festival. Every year, thousands of international music delegates descend on the city on the hunt for new artists and bands.
The full list of acts from Ireland, supported by Music From Ireland (MFI), selected for this year’s festival are:

MFI is the Irish Music Export Office run by First Music Contact – they will present two showcases at the festival.
The first is the official Music From Ireland showcase taking place at the Velveeta Room on Thursday 16th March from 8pm.
This year also sees the welcomed return of the beloved Full Irish Breakfast taking place the following day, St. Patrick’s Day! The daytime showcase takes place on601 Congress Avenue, hosted with TDR. RSVP to The Full Irish Breakfast here.
