Role Overview
The Project Manager is a central member of the IMRO team, responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing key projects across IMRO’s business functions. The role demands leadership in ensuring project delivery within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards, while managing risks and stakeholder expectations. The Project Manager will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, applying best practice methodologies to drive operational efficiency and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. This role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring expertise in project management, process optimisation, team leadership, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Execution
- Manage a portfolio or programme of Interconnected projects.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in alignment with organisational goals.
- Develop detailed project plans including milestones, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
- Lead project kick-off meetings and facilitate regular progress updates.
- Monitor project progress and proactively manage risks and issues to ensure timely delivery.
- Capacity planning and forecasting across multiple initiatives
- Experience in establishing PMO‑level controls
Resource & Schedule Management
- Coordinate resources and schedules across teams (IT, analytics, operations, finance) to meet project deadlines.
- Optimise resource utilisation and adjust plans as required to accommodate changing priorities and requirements.
- Ability to prioritise across a roadmap
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Establish and communicate project quality standards and performance metrics.
- Ensure all project deliverables comply with internal policies, external regulations, and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular project reviews and audits, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
Continuous Improvement
- Champion process improvement initiatives, leveraging methodologies such as Lean or Agile.
- Analyse operational data and stakeholder feedback to drive improvements in project delivery and outcomes.
Stakeholder Communication & Engagement
- Provide clear dashboards and reports on project status, risks, and outcomes to senior management and stakeholders.
- Act as a bridge between technical teams and business units to ensure project priorities are met.
- Share periodic updates and insights with IMRO customers and external partners, as required.
- Manage structured processes for reporting and escalating issues to relevant parties.
Governance
- Chair steering committees
- Produce exec-level dashboards
- Escalate & negotiate trade-offs at senior levels
- Influence C-suite decisions with data and insight
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead and develop project teams, setting clear objectives and monitoring performance.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and foster a collaborative environment working closely with other department heads and external partners.
Other Duties
- Monitor progress against project schedules and proactively identify bottlenecks or risks to delivery timelines.
- Champion a culture of operational excellence, encouraging innovation and best practice adoption across all teams.
Essential Experience
- 5+ years’ experience in project management delivering cross-functional business and technology projects.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Strong background in operations, process optimisation, or technology driven change.
- Proven experience managing budgets, schedules, risk registers, and structured reporting.
- Experience working with senior leadership and influencing decisions.
- Handson experience with Agile, Lean, or hybrid project delivery.
- Prior delivery of digital transformation projects or enterprise system implementations.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in licensing, rights management, music industry operations, or similar regulatory/operational environments.
- Experience developing dashboards, project reports, KPIs, or analytical insights.
- Track record of continuous improvement initiatives.
- Understanding of data protection and audit frameworks
- Formal change management frameworks (ADKAR, ITIL, etc)
- Comfort with data analysis, metrics interpretation
- Using BI tools (i.e. Power BI) to create dashboards
- Understanding APIs, integrations, and basic systems architecture

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Operations, or similar.
- PM Frameworks PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile certification desirable.
- Proficiency with project management tools (Jira, MS Project, Asana, etc.).
