IMRO: Irish Music Rights Organisation, is a national organisation that administers the performing right in copyright music in Ireland on behalf of its members – songwriters, composers and music publishers – and on behalf of the members of the international overseas societies that are affiliated to it. IMRO’s function is to collect and distribute royalties arising from the public performance of copyright works and sine January 2016 to licence and collect royalties on behalf of PPI – Phonographic Performance Ireland, as their agent.

We are seeking a dynamic, experienced and driven individual to join our team.

To process all returned dual music licenses (DMLs) by following IMRO’s strict contract management policy. Multiple checks are undertaking to ensure the contract is correct and legally binding, this being the job holders’ ultimate responsibility. All DMLs are process on our CRM system – MS Dynamics with invoice/credit note production, account adjustment and document storing all part of this demanding role.

There is also a revenue generation and protection piece to this role. Aided by IMRO’s bespoke data mining tool they will be tasks with producing leads for the field and phone teams and with analysing existing accounts for protection and opportunity.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Ensuring returned DMLs are 100% legally binding by preforming a list of checks.
  • Creating adding notes and adjusting accounts on CRM.
  • Scanning, copying and ensuring all customers receive their countersigned copy within the agreed timeframe.
  • Generating Sales Leads
  • Account Management – Audits / Protection
  • Weekly reporting to the National Licensing Sales
  • Support when required for the other members of the Licensing Department
  • Undertaking such other duties as may be assigned by management from time to time.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2 years’ work experience in any business environment.
  • An ability to work to the highest level of quality and have outstanding attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent MS Office skills – knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM an advantage.
  • Strong written and spoken English.
  • Proven track record for working on own initiative.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills.
