IMRO Award Presented to Inhaler

July 4, 2022

We recently caught up with Inhaler before their highly anticipated hometown show in Fairview Park to retrospectively present the band with an IMRO Number 1 Award for their chart topping debut album ‘It Won’t Always Be Like This’.

The IMRO Number 1 Award was introduced to acknowledge IMRO members who reach number 1 in the album charts in Ireland.

The album, released in July 2021, went on to top the charts in the UK and Ireland and Inhaler have since racked up over 140 million combined streams globally.

The band, consisting of vocalist and guitarist Elijah Hewson, bassist Robert Keating, guitarist Josh Jenkinson and drummer Ryan McMahon, were fresh from their debut Glastonbury performance when they took to the stage in Fairview Park for their biggest headline performance to date, a performance the band referred to as ‘”a dream come true”.
