CISAC Global Collections Report 2017 out 15th November
The CISAC Global Collections Report is the definitive source of global data, trends and analysis for collections by CISAC’s member author societies in 123 countries. With commentaries by CISAC President Jean-Michel Jarre, Director General Gadi Oron and Chair Eric Baptiste, the 2017 Report will be released in English, French and Spanish on November 15th 2017.
CISAC reported collections in 2016 (for 2015 data) at €8.6 billion. The 2017 Report will include:
Global growth trends for 5 repertoires (music, audiovisual, visual arts, drama and literature)
Analysis of changing patterns of consumption, led by TV & radio, live and digital
Newly-published five-year growth trends across all data
Numbers and trends in all countries and regions, including markets across Africa
Country profiles of Sweden, Canada, Mexico, Korea, China, South Africa and Algeria
