What Will You Say? Autumn Mid-term Music Week at The Ark 2023

Join musician Ríona Sally Hartman on a song hunt to create music and sounds from everyday objects in these fun workshops for 2-4 year olds and 5-7 year olds.
This mid-term break, we will explore the sounds we can make from all sorts of things, from crinkly dry leaves to twigs snapping and cracking conkers. Together, we’ll record the sounds, layering them up on top of each other using a simple loop pedal.
Next, we’ll listen carefully and add our voices. Singing, speaking, humming, whispering… Who knows what kind of songs or soundscapes will emerge from our intrepid, curious, auditory explorations?
