Split Milk Festival

Sligo’s Spilt Milk Festival, dedicated to showcasing experimental live music and art from all across
Ireland, will be returning for its third edition, live and in person, this autumn. Taking place in venues
across Sligo town during the weekend of the 19th to the 21st of November, and they are excited to premiere an ambitious programme of artists and events.

In anticipation of and to support the November festival, they will be holding a series of special fundraising events this summer. Coming to Heart’s Desire Barista Bar on July the 24th, Beats & BBQ will feature tunes from DJ collective Turn It On and BBQ cooked up by Laura Quinn of the Gallery Cafe. All proceeds from this event will go towards the festival’s running costs.

Then on the 22nd of August, there will be Beats and Brunch, a live radio broadcast and community party, giving a taster of their November programme, hosted by musicians and podcasters Natalia Beylis and Willie Stewart. It will feature a pop-up kitchen, live DJing and interviews with local artists and musicians. This event will be live-streamed from the Spilt Milk Festival website, for those who can’t attend in person.
