Quarantine FM has announced details of its Cana Music Festival which aims to help reignite the Irish music scene after the effects of the global pandemic with 4 unmissable gigs featuring the very best in up and coming Irish talent.

Cana Music Festival is filmed in all four provinces of Ireland, with each gig filmed in specially selected locations from an epic Atlantic coast castle to the iconic Irish Cultúrlann Centre in Belfast. Each gig will also feature emerging local artists and the streamed gigs will take a look behind the scenes with interviews and a sneak-peek at how QFM’s first ever festival came to life!

Each streamed concert will showcase three of the best up and coming local acts that Cork, Galway, Belfast and Dublin have to offer. You may not have heard of all of these artists yet, but QFM and Cana Music Festival promises that you will!

Quarantine FM (QFM) was a digital radio station set up in March 2020 and born out of Covid-19 unemployment. It ran as a radio station from March 2020 to March 2021 and during that time it broadcast over 1,100 hours of completely new and original radio content, including nearly six hundred interviews before pivoting to producing podcasts and creating live events. Cana Music Festival is run by QFM’s impassioned Irish music enthusiasts Anna-Rose Charleton, Sam Hardiman, Heather Lawrie and
Cailean Coffey.

The aim and ethos of Quarantine FM (QFM) from the beginning has been to support young Irish people paving their way in the fields of music, theatre, visual arts, dance, sports and more, and to provide a platform to allow people to share their COVID-19 experiences.
