Malin Jonsson

Malin Jonsson Skogman, Studio Manager, PLAYERUNKNOWN Productions

Malin is the studio manager at PLAYERUNKNOWN Productions. PLAYERUNKNOWN Productions is founded by Brendan Greene, an Irish video game developer best known for the hugely successful game PUBG: Battleground. Malin has over 25 years of experience with leadership roles such as CEO/CIO/CTO where she has been responsible for various digital transformations in both for-profit and non-profit organizations operating within gaming, music, transportation, life-science and government. She is skilled in leading international teams through change, using new technology as an enabler for growth and transformation. Malin is known for keeping complex stakeholders’ interests in mind whilst gaining visible results. At PLAYERUNKNOWN Productions, the studio, under Malin’s leadership, is exploring new technology using  AI/ML, with the aim of building a platform to experience large-scale digital experiences (the Metaverse). Further, Malin is also the former CEO of Network of Music Partners (NMP), the joint venture by PRS for Music and Nordic CMOs (Koda, Tono, Teosto) formed in 2011 with the mission of gaining economy of scale through the collaboration of royalty management across segments such as mechanical offline processing as well as digital (online) handling. During her 8 years at the helm of NMP, Malin and her team managed to significantly expand the managed portfolio to not only handle MCPS’ and the Nordics CMOs’ portfolio, but also that of the Dutch CMO, Buma/Strema’s. Finally, Malin has served as Advisor on the IMRO IT-committee reporting to the IMRO board, since June 2022.

Rose McHugh

Rose McHugh is currently chair of Crawford Art Gallery and is non-executive director of Bank of America Europe and Irish Life Group. She is also a member of the Governing Body of UCC. She served two terms as chair of Bord Iascaigh Mhara (BIM), was chair of Brook Foods and is a former non-executive director of Origin Enterprises Plc, Bord na Mona and The Fota Hotel Collection.  She was formerly executive director and head of corporate finance at Merrion Capital. Prior to this appointment, she was deputy CEO of SWS Group, a renewable energy and diversified services group and a Director of Taxation with EY. She is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland, an Associate of the Institute of Taxation in Ireland, with a law degree and MBA from UCC. She is a Chartered Director with the Institute of Directors.

Clare Duignan

Clare Duignan is a non-executive director with extensive board experience across private, public and not-for-profit sectors. During her career at RTÉ, she gained wide-ranging senior executive experience, with over 20 years in key leadership roles including Head of Independent Productions, Director of Programmes TV, and Managing Director Radio and Performing Groups. Clare is currently a board member with Fáilte Ireland, The Irish Times DAC, The Chester Beatty Library, and Business to Arts.  She recently chaired the Irish Government’s Arts and Culture Recovery Taskforce. She has previously served on the board of the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland, The Dublin International Film Festival, and The Arts Council, and she chaired the Advisory Board of ShinAwil Film and Television.
