Sharon is Sony Music Publishing’s Senior Vice President, International Operations & Society Relations and is an active member of its global senior executive strategy team based in its International office in London.
Sharon‘s 30+ year music industry career spans PRS, SBK Songs, A&M Records, and CBS Music Publishing, now Sony Music Publishing. She has vast experience of the operational side of music copyright administration from both the side of a smaller publishing company (CBS Music Publishing began with just a handful of copyrights), to now being a key executive in the largest music publisher in the world. Today Sharon leads, provides procedural and operational direction and internationally manages Sony Music Publishing’s administrative operations and organisation, instigating and leading several business change programmes. She is an experienced participant in Society/Publisher technical committees, with a strong eye for detail, and a direct approach to challenging outdated practices.
With her extensive international experience, she champions the rights of international songwriters, and is an advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion.
