Ian Hennessy has worked in the music business for twenty five years. Ian has worked in a variety of areas of the music business including music retail, live music and concert promotion, management, sync and record and music publishing.
Working with Crashed Music & Records recording artists and songwriters he has gained a vast amount of experience and has taken a particular interest in publishing and all copyright related matters. Ian, as executive director, has guided and managed Crashed Music going into their fifth decade in business. Crashed Music publish a large Irish music catalogue including works by established and emerging songwriters as well as administering the publishing for a number of other catalogues. Ian is also a director of the Music Publishers Association of Ireland (MPAI) and the Mechanical Copyright Protection Society Ireland (MCPSI).
